The one thing that stood out to me the most, is the writing style. The majority of the story is told in dialogue.
A lot of the characters name begin with similar sounds. Coralie, Court, Katelyn, Cal, Criston. With a book that is mostly dialogue the similarities in the names stands out more.
It is a plot driven novel there is always constant movement, some traveling and a lot of action. We also get to see a bit of a jealous side to Alex, I found that he had a lot of character growth throughout the story, having to deal with this emotions while being by Coralie's side as her protector.
When it comes to Coralie and her family she has a very solid home base. When her father discovers that there maybe something up with his new assistant, he takes action. Parents who are very protective and always try to stay a step ahead is endearing.
Greece! Who doesn't love getting swept away to another place while reading. I personally love it. The romance aspect with Court is very soul-mate-ish and I wish we got to see more of him in this novel, but we do get a lot of him in the first book.
Coralie is a very strong character. She is determined and a fighter, one who speaks her mind.
